In this episode, Jill interviews Dr. Dennis Waskul and Michelle Anklan on their study of women’s perceptions and uses of the vibrator. Dennis and Michelle share their research into the somewhat complicated historical relationship the vibrator has with feminist thought, and the ways in which women in the second decade of the 21st century think of this device.

I have been waiting for this podcast for a couple of months. Professor Dennis Waskul and Michelle Anklan did a great job. I read their research paper around two months ago, and it impressed me a lot. I am from a conservative society in Bangladesh, where using a vibrator is considered sinful and is prohibited by religion. I wholeheartedly agree with Michelle Anklan I would love to live in a world where talking about vibrators is as common as talking about
dishwashers! Thank you, Jennifer Jill Fellows, for hosting this. I truly appreciate it! And thank you also, Professor Dennis Waskul and Michelle Anklan, for making this insightful work possible.
